WebFeb 28, 2024 · High Tor hotel was the most perfect of locations and we woke up to lovely views. Hotel is very clean, bed very comfy and the shower was great. Breakfast was included in the room price which was great value and food was good. We all said we would stay again. Date of stay: February 2024 Trip type: Travelled as a couple WebAug 6, 2024 · We stayed in the high tor retreat cottage which is part of the hotel. The positive is it's a great location in between Matlock and Matlock bath. Unfortunately the cottage is no where near ready to rent out. It's half finished and what is finished is done to a bad DIY standard.
