WitrynaTau Beta Pi is pretty good to MEs as well. Tau Beta Pi is comparable to Phi Beta Kappa (the "other" honor society) and was founded in 1885. Phi Beta Kappa did not grant admission to Engineering students so they created their own society. Tau Beta Pi invites the top 1/8 (12.5%) of JR and the top 1/5 (20%) of SR. WitrynaOur chapter also hosts FE review sessions, resume workshops, networking workshops, etc. which can be helpful. Also since it's open to upperclassmen only, and most people join with only one or two semesters to go, it's fairly easy to get an officer position just because there's a lot of positions and not a lot of people.
